Simply put — yes, you need the ratchet straps.

Here’s Why

Our patented EZY Wheels are expertly engineered to clip directly into your shipping container — no welding, drilling, or bolting required. This design makes installation fast and effortless, but it also means that ratchet straps are a necessary part of the system.

The ratchet straps are not there to provide heavy tension or to lift weight — they are simply there to keep your EZY Wheels securely locked into place while your container is in motion. Think of them as a safety lock that ensures your wheels stay connected, even if your container hits a bump or becomes high-centered during transport.

How to Use the Ratchet Straps

Each set of EZY Wheels includes the necessary ratchet straps. Using them is simple:

1. Take the hook of the ratchet strap and attach it to the hole provided on the top of your EZY Wheel.

2. Run the strap through the top ISO corner pocket on the same side of the container.

3. Repeat the same process for the opposite side.

Once attached, lightly tighten the straps — just enough to hold your EZY Wheels securely in place. Over-tightening is unnecessary.
